This catch basin is within the Gloucester Housing Authority's property. It is not City owned or on us to clean

This is a Gloucester Housing Authority Issue.

The housing authority says they don’t have the equipment to actually pump out the catch basin and that the Gloucester DPW does. So what is the next step?

This catch basin belongs to the Gloucester Housing Authority, it is on their private property. Please be advised that the Housing Authority is not a City entity.

It is not a City catch basin, we do not pump out private catch basins.

The next step is for the Gloucester Housing Authority to hire someone to clean it out. It is not a City issue.

Rose, can DPW send a message to the Housing Authority? I called them about two months ago but they did nothing about it. Thanks, Bill Stevens.

DPW will not send a message to the Housing Authority.

It is within their private property and they are aware that it is not the City's catch basin.

Unfortunately, this is a private property issue not a City or DPW issue.
